He founded J&L in 1985, and has shared his expertise with many companies as a consultant over many years. In addition, for the last six years Mr. Lewis has been teaching construction scheduling, estimating, and management for continuing education students at Bergen Community College. He does private presentations for companies that need training and coaching for their staffs.
Mr. Lewis attributes his many years of professional success to loving his work. He has a real desire to give back, assisting the underserved and less fortunate. He also credits his organizational skills and ability to multitask, simultaneously handling disparate and diverse projects. Based on his 27 years in the construction management industry, Jeff Lewis was was recruited by United Way to head the newly formed division.
Mr. Lewis studied Construction Management at Bergen Community College. He continuously furthers his education by taking courses on the newest developments in his field, and applies that knowledge as a board member of multiple municipal planning and zoning authorities. In the coming years, he intends to broaden the scope of the project for the United Way, as well as continue to teach and consult.
